Chasing Our Happy Tails...

LifeLine Animal Project strives to provide our feline and canine friends the best possible environment until the they can be placed in loving, forever homes. Our Kitty Motel residents enjoy a cage-free temporary home with plenty of climbing areas for adventurous cats and hiding places for shy kitties. LifeLine's Dog House is a safe, fun, and loving environment where dogs have plenty of outdoor group playtime as well as individual care. However, we have cats and dogs that would benefit from a foster home environment. Some have special needs or diet concerns, while others may just need some extra socialization. LifeLine provides all veterinary care, food, and supplies as needed for animals in foster homes. The cats and dogs just ask for your love and attention in return. Some will only need short-term care while others may need a longer period. If you are interested in fostering one of our wonderful cats or dogs, please email mblair@atlantapets.org.

Melody

Special Need: Chronic Rhinitis and Conjuctivitis

Sunshine Melody is a happy little lady. She is very affectionate and love to rub her face on yours. She has even been know to push off her foster mother's glasses just to have more face to rub hers on. She loves to carry around her toys and meow with excitement. She plays hard and loves to curl up with you at night She was found in a feral cat colony but was extremely tame and unfortunately extremely sick. She is now a beautiful girl with slight special needs but doesn't need extra care. She has a little bit of drainage from her eye and nose but it doesn't seem to affect her. She is in foster care with other fully vaccinated cats and they have had no issues. She also lives with dogs and does very well. She is available for foster care or for a permament home.

Lacey

Special Need: FIV+

Lacey is one of our favorites! She is a sweet girl with a lot of love to give. She is playful and doesn't hesitate to tell you that she ready for some playtime. She currently resides in the office of our spay neuter clinic with three other cats. We lovingly call her "Office Cat." She enjoys sitting in the window watching the squirrels and birds. She likes to chase toy balls and dunk our ink pens in the water bowl! She can often be found cleaning her best friend Vega. Lacey is FIV positive but Vega is negative. FIV+ cats can live very long, healthy lives. For more info about FIV+ kitties, check out this link. FIV Information.
